about

"In retrospect, I like these 2 unreleased songs. 2006 was an interesting time for all types of post-punk but the one that struck me the most was May I Meet My Accuser, the 2nd album by Chicago's Magas, formerly of Ersatz Audio. On my personal music I wanted to provide vulnerable vocals and lyrics with abrasive synths bleeding into one another. I used the cheapest analog modeling Korg synths and an MPC into a 24-bit 16 track, later providing a careful Neve pre-amp mastering for a deep, hi-fi sound. I hope you enjoy:)" - Robin KG, April 5th, 2018.
